Job Purpose:

Participation in the development of strategic business growth of international LinkMisr, through the Lead, direct, plan and manage, health, safety and environment activities inside the organization and train people.

Job Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering Background or BSc. in Chemistry / Biology.
  • 10 Years of experience in the same filed.
  • ISO 9001/2000 Lead Auditor.
  • Total Quality Management and Quality Management Systems Diploma.
  • Certified Six sigma is a plus.
  • Familiar with OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001.
  • Excellent English spoken and written.
  • Very good command of French language will be a plus.
  • V. Good command of using MS office programs (specially excel – access).
  • Safety/ Occupational Safety & Health Professional background.
  • Familiar with environmental standards.
  • Strong familiarity HSE management, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Self-Motivated, Target Oriented.
  • High Organizing skills. 
  • Hard worker and Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all HSE projects (Firefighting systems – Alarm Systems – Ventilation – Reduce Noise – Engineering Controls & modification).
  • Follow up with all Sites for (Hazard Assessment- Training needs – Action plan per site- Environmental Issues).
  • Make daily follow up and audit to inspect the (Industrial Hygiene-Behavior based safety -Firefighting tools and devices – Work permit follow up – Maker also special training for safety staff).
  • Implementing, developing and maintaining a safety management system as per OHSA 18001,ISO14001.ISO 9001    Standard.
  • Make a special training for sites as matrix related to critical location.
  • Executive the Educational training material.
  • Make a quarter audits using specific checklist and attend monthly committee per sites.
  • Apply the risk assessment studies for all activities.
  • Follow the environmental monitoring on regular basis & take corrective actions.
  • Make Analysis for the reports & numbers of incidents, near miss, potential hazards and first aids and take the necessary corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare & update the semiannual statistics (incidences-occupational disease-chronic disease) to the governmental labor office and follow the biological monitoring to the workers.
  • Implement safety precautions, procedures & deploy the safe behavior programs to all workers.
  • Prepare& update the Environmental Ledger, environmental premises to the Environmental affairs and follow the update of laws and internal requirements.
  • Implement the occupational issues as (driver analysis- chest check- conversation test – pre check – regular check.
  • Ensure that any remedial recommendations are implemented.
  • Update the chemical list, MSDS library and classify the hazardous and non-hazardous materials -Check the waste segregation and safe disposal of wastes.
  • Prepare Emergency Plan, conduct Fire & emergency drills, and lead the Emergency preparedness team in Firefighting & spillages.
  • Ensure the compliance with Civil defense conditions, OSHA & NFPA.
  • Detect Sites Requirements from Signs, Lighting, Toilet. Drinking Water.
  • Internal auditor for OHSAS 18001, ISO14001, ISO 9001 and Follow up requirements.
